U.K. mums- whooping cough question?

Hi, today I had my 12 week scan and I’m measuring at 11wks and 6 days. They gave me the whooping cough whilst there but now I’m reading it’s way too early, did anyone else have it this early? I’m feeling rather worried.

The whooping cough leaflet I was given by the midwife says 16-32weeks I would defo query it with your midwife

I’m in the UK and mine was done at the hospital at my 20 week anatomy scan

In the US they give it in the third trimester but my understanding is in the UK the recommendation is for much earlier. It should not matter much— it won’t hurt you or baby at all either way. it’s just a matter of which timeframe is supposed to give maximum protection to baby once he or she is born. Don’t stress!

They don’t normally give you it until I think 16 weeks. If you’re worried ring your midwife and ask. I had it at 16 weeks with both my pregnancies.

Hello I think your supposed to have it done at 28 weeks? It’s while ago since I was far into pregnancy. But this does seem to be too early xxx
