Devasted. HCG Levels dropped.

I'm falling apart emotionally. We'd finally gotten pregnant (confirmed 2x by blood ).  Then I got a call last night from a doctor telling me my last levels showed it's not growing. Still haven't gotten my period. Said I might need a D&C 😖 Has anyone gone through something similar? Can you please shed some light on this, or tell me how your experience was? I really need someone to talk to about this who understands. I'm confused and just so depressed.
