Pregnant?

I had a faint positive on Saturday and a few negatives since then. I started what I thought was my period today, but it was very light and a few days early. On a whim, I took a test and it was positive. I’m not sure whether to believe I’m pregnant, or whether this is the end of a chemical pregnancy that wasn’t detected earlier. It’s too late to schedule a dr appointment, so I’d guess the soonest I’d get in would be Friday. Thoughts, from those of you who might know how to read these mixed results?

EDIT: got a negative this morning. No idea what the heck is going on.

EDIT: it was a chemical. My husband joked that “it’s like a free fertility assessment!”
