Had a swab done today for Fetal Fibronectin- I’ve never had this test done before.

...But I do have a history of going into preterm labor around 31-33 weeks with my two oldest kids, followed by medications to stop labor and steroids to aid in lung development. I ended up going home and delivering them full term.

Since their births ten years ago, I have had cervical Conization/ leep procedures which makes my cervix shorter and possibly increasingly incompetent. My chances of preterm labor are higher...so far so good though at 32 weeks.

Anyone ever have this done? What was the outcome?
