Preeclampsia

I had preeclampsia with my first child 7 years ago. Well this go around my ob is taking all precautions to prevent it this time (urine checks, low dose aspirin). They told me I would have to be induced early just for "safety" but that's not what I want. I want baby to cook as long as possible and I was wondering if there was anyway I could avoid this. I did not want to be induced unless necessary. My 1st labor was hell with that pitocin!! Help please
