Has anyone had any luck with metformin ???

Hello I have pcos been trying for 4 yrs doc is FINALLY goint to try something is wanting to try metformin first to see if it will help regulate my periods ( ive never had more then two in a row. Naturally) have y'all or know anyone who has been on this ??? Did it help ? Anything is should watch for ?  Tia

I was put on metformin and now I’m pregnant. I will warn you. You will get extremely sick from the metformin but don’t give up on it. It gets better.

I’ve been on it for a year and it helped level out my hormones, and made my cycle somewhat more regular. I have such a severe case of PCOS that I need more help than just metformin to try to get pregnant. The metformin made me feel awful for about 2 month, but don’t give up, it will get better!
