When in a relationship, what do you think is the appropriate age difference between you and your partner?

My so and I have 21 years difference between us. We're happy as could be so far and he's amazing with my daughter, and she adores him. I never dated someone with such a huge age difference before and was definetly worried at first, but I no longer experience that worry. We have fun together, share a lot of the same interest, and can actually have a conversation. After all my past relationships and the one I got out of with my daughter's father he's been the biggest breath of fresh air. He brings out the best in me and helps me through my problems. I finally feel like I'm in a relationship where we're a team. So, I don't believe age really matters in a relationship.

I think that is only an issue if one of them is under 14-15 and it's more than a 2 yr difference. That being said, it depends on the relationship. I know a married couple who started dating when she was 15 and he was 21.

Mine fiancé is 10 years older than me and it's never been a issue my great grandmother n great grandfather are 15 years they never had a issue about it because they said the only time they remembered the age difference was on their birthdays other than that they never felt closer in age and maturity. Love knows no boundaries is what they always told me.!!

I say 4-7 but I'm also talking to someone 9-10 years older than me definitely coming out of my comfort zone with this one but he treats me amazingly and we have a lot in comment and we can joke with each other it's really nice the age just bothers me a bit
