Is it weird
Is it weird to have just a letter as a middle name? I ask because I am not a fan of middle names but my husband is. None of my family have a middle name, but his family does. He also wants the middle name to honor his mother and while I understand, I honestly just hate the name. It's also my aunts name and I have had two coworkers with the name and couldn't stand either one of them. As a compromise, I thought of just using the first letter of the name and my husband really likes that idea. I just don't know if that's a strange thing to do or if it would cause confusion with legal documents or whatever.
*and please, before anyone decides to post that I'm being ridiculous about a name or should just let him honor his mother... he doesn't like the name either, he just wants something for her and he's 100% on board with the letter.
I'm just wondering if any of you have done this or heard of it and what negatives there could be?
