How much do you tip? 🤔

Just curious how much people tip their delivery drivers? (Add in restaurant tips too if you want) no judging just curious

I waitresses for years making $2.50 an hour. I understand that tips are how they make a living, because I’ve been there. So I always tip 20% if the wait staff is good. 10% if if was bad  (everyone has a bad day). And 0% if they were absolutely terrible. You asked about tipping my delivery driver. Usually $5 because I’m just 3 minutes away from the restaurant, but too lazy to pick it up. Lol.

I tip at least 30%. I appreciate good service and when they know I tip well they treat me good.

I always make sure to leave at least $10 and more if I can afford it. Their base pay before tips is absolute crap and I cant imagine trying to make it in this world as a young adult (or even a grown adult) on what their wages are. Anything to help them out imo. Idc if they weren’t the best server in the world, everybody has bad days, and I try to be understanding of that.

I always make sure to tip at least 15%. If the service is *really* shitty, I’ll tip 10%. If the wait staff is amazing? Shiiiiit. Write $0 on the check, but leave 25% in cash, on the table, so it can go directly into their pocket.

If they did a really good job and did something that made it special then ill give 10 but other than that i dont really tip because alot of the waiters dont listen or is rude.
