Snug piercing

So I got my snug piercing this past Saturday and I was absolutely in love with it, it looked perfect and for a couple of days it was problem free, very little swelling and little to no pain, but yesterday it started to swell up a bit so I iced it a bit (with a covered ice pack) I’ve been gently cleaning it with a sea salt solution and today it was just so swollen and a dull throbbing sensation and the bar looks like it might sink in soon. I can’t tell if it’s just regular healing or if it’s infected and I’m looking for help on getting the swelling down. Any advice please?
