Advice for young relationships?

I've been dating my boyfriend for two years. We've been best friends for fours years. I'm only 17 years old, but I love him so much and think about our future together. I really want to make this work. Anyone have advice or stories for me about their relationships at this age? And if they're still dating their significant other from high school?

My advice may not be too reassuring or helpful or even make any sense but make sure you hold it close enough it doesn't wander but not so close it smothers it. ALWAYS be 100% open and honest with each other, don't keep secrets from each other. No matter how much the truth may hurt, always share everything with each other. Never give up, there will be times you want to give up but don't. And always remember that what's meant to be, will be.

My husband and I started dating when I was 14 and he was 17. He was my first ever boyfriend, I was his first serious girlfriend. We got married when I was 19.

I had so many comments throughout our entire relationship. "How can you know he's the one? You're so young and haven't dated anyone else." "You're too young to get married." Eyc etc etc.

We just had our 10 year anniversary last month. We'll have been married for 5 years in September. We are 24 and 27.

Nothing has changed except I love him more now. All I can say is when you know you know. And don't let anyone else tell you how to handle your relationship. It can absolutely work if you're both in it for the long haul.

I was 14 when I first started dating my now husband (he was 16) and we have been inseperable since! Of course we would be on and off a lot but that never lasted for more than a week. We married July 27th, 2013 and to this day I'm still so in love with him and wouldn't trade him for the world! I'm 22 now and he's 24.

I'm 20 now I meet my boyfriend at when I was in high school around age 16  we've been bestfriend for 4 years and in a relationship for about almost a year now, being in a relationship with him has not been easy by for he's done some things to me no woman should have to go through and I've done some things no man should have to go through, just remember when you guys are fighting and you feel things are to get physical walk away, remember to forgive, to be understanding & forgive we all do things we shouldn't do out of anger, my last fight me and my BF had was because he went to the ATM and took $20 off my card without my permission and had me thinking my card was stolen all because we had got into an argument that night and told him some hurtful words and bringing up how I cheated on him, he said if I would've picked up the phone he wouldn't have went out that night and the situation could have been avoided, but I feel as what he did was wrong despite what I did you shouldn't take my money no matter how much it was without me knowing

Young relationships can be very difficult as you are both still learning who you are and changing all the time. Some Couples can change together and grow Together not apart

My husband and I have been together 16 yrs, married almost 10. We started dating when I was 16. I think it's takes commitment and hard work.  You grow and change together. We have had our issues but you make it work.

My mom and dad got together when my mom was 14 i think and my dad was 17! My mom was going into high school and my dad was leaving high school! They got married my moms senior year (no she wasn't pregnant). And they've been married ever since then, so for the past 24 years!!
