To induce or not to induce.

Okay so I'm posting anonymously here because I know it's a touchy subject but it's one I've been thinking about a lot lately. I'm a FTM and due December 24th, I'm currently 27+5 and just about in my 3rd trimester. With everything getting closer, namely my due date, I've come to ask myself more and more what I want my labor and delivery process to be like. Then I came to think about what my mother's labor and deliveries were like. She and I are the same height, same build, and almost the same age at the time of delivery our first born. With that said, my mom ended up having to have csections both times she gave birth. With me she had to because I was smaller and flipped right before my due date and was breech. With my sister, she was normal sized and my mom's pelvic bone wasn't large enough for my sister's head to pass through.

Due to knowing these things and combining them with the face that I'm having bad back problems with still another 12 weeks to go, I'm really considering electing to be induced at 39 weeks to try and avoid having a C-section .

Some people might be against elected induction and that's not what I'm looking to make this post about in the comments, I want opinions of people who are more open minded please. If you don't have anything nice to say please keep it to yourself. I'm trying to be proactive about my delivery and make sure I'm able to give birth vaginally.
