Pain and numbness months after?

My son is 8 months old and I still have mild pain and numbness around my incision. I haven’t told my doctor, it only bothers me when I touch it or my son kicks me and stuff. Not during sex tho.

I don’t know think the numbness will ever go away. As for the pain, my mom told me she still gets pain around her scar at times if she does too much like moves furniture or lifts something too heavy.....almost 33 years later! She was telling me about it when we were out with friends and another woman agreed she gets it to. Looks like we’re in for a lifetime of random pains! All worth it though!!!

Same here. My son is 9 months and I still have numbness and pain if anything presses against the incision area (still can’t wear jeans or any kind of non-stretchy pants!). I had a complication with my c-section—a 15x2x3 cm post-surgical hematoma—so i’m not sure how much of my experience is typical or due to that. But I was in constant pain until about 6 months pp. At least now it’s basically just numbness.

I'm one year post c section and still numb in the center of my scar and above it. Sometimes I get random stretching pains and it is very uncomfortable when I have underwear that rub against my scar. 
I've talked to my doctor about all of this and she tells me it's all normal. Just part of having abdominal surgery and the result of nerves being cut and damaged.
