I wanna be there for him but... I think he’s taking advantage of the situation

So since we have been back at school, I’ve only seen my boyfriend twice. It’s been a month, same school, but he’s getting his masters.

He would always say he was too busy and last time said getting in was “too inconvenient” and that’s why I he won’t visit.

The past couple days I havnt heard from him and he just told me that after doing a spinal tap his dad is now paralyzed from the waist down and he won’t be able to see or possibly talk to me, even less than before.
