Birth control making me super emotional?

I currently have the Nexplanon in my arm and got it in May. Been dating my boyfriend since beginning of the year. I love him so much but i feel like this birth control is killing me emotionally. I want to cry all the time for no reason. He’s a great boyfriend and doesn’t do anything to make me cry but maybe if we’re roasting each other i just take something’s too personal and get upset and cry. Like it’s so stupid. I’m not sure if it’s the nexplanon messing with my emotions because i wasn’t super comfortable at the beginning of my relationship with him to cry. Anyone have this issue and if so what did you do? Counseling, deal with it, change BC? Help!
