Stressed to the Max

So back in August, we sold our house. We’ve been staying with my in-laws until we find a place. All is fine with that. I’m not fond of living out of a suitcase and not feeling like I have my own space but, it’s fine. I get that it’s just what we have to do right now.

At the beginning of September we found a really nice place and we’ve been under contract for it. We’re just waiting to close. Closing date isn’t until November 1st. Still cutting it close to baby’s arrival but not too bad. I’ll have about a month to nest and prepare. Cool. I can still do this.

Yesterday, we had the inspection done on the house and they found a problem. Apparently, water has been draining under the house for quite some time and there’s signs of it. We’re going to try to negotiate with the seller and have them fix this issue, but if they’re not willing to fix it or at least give us a lower price on the house so that we can fix it, we’re going to have to back out of the deal and end up right back at square one.

I’m so scared that I’m not going to have a place for my baby when she arrives in December. I’m due the 17th. Also, how the hell are people supposed to visit baby if we’re still living with my in-laws?! I won’t have a place for anyone. I’m starting to freak out because even if we have to find a new house, it’s going to leave me with even less time to prepare for baby’s arrival. I still have so much stuff that we need to get for her!

Not to mention a week and a half ago my husband was in a car accident and totaled his car that we just paid off so we had to go buy a new car as well. My husband is fine and the accident wasn’t his fault, but it’s just all to much for this momma right now. Life needs to cut me a break. I’ve been trying so hard not to get too stressed out but everything feels like it’s falling apart right now.
