Is my baby's nail infected?

So i noticed my baby's fingernail a couple weeks ago. It didn't look this bad at first, but now it looks like this. Im not sure if it's infected or if it's something else. Has anyone seen this happen before? Should i make a doctor's appointment? Sorry if the picture is a little blurry, he wouldn't sit still.

He does have an infection but the doctor said it was starting to heal. She prescribed him antibiotics. Thanks for helping!

it could be fungal infection or something. take him to the doctor for sure

My baby was starting to suck on her fingers and was getting hang nails now I’m nervous the finger she was doing it too looks like it could be turning yellow/brown (the side of it with no mail right now) is this what your little one did to get the infection or did it just appear. ?
