Heavy bleeding two weeks after MC

I was supposed to be 7 weeks but by my first ultrasound they weren’t able to find the baby and I started bleeding two days later. It has been exactly two weeks since I first started bleeding. It had tapered off and was almost gone a couple of days ago, but came back worse than it started. I’m now bleeding very heavily with a lot of clots. Is this normal after two weeks? I have a doctor’s appointment on Thursday but I’m not sure if I should go to the ER.
