October is pregnancy and infant loss awareness month, so I’m sharing my story with you guys, in hopes that some of you find comfort.

My husband and I found out we were pregnant in June after only 1 month of ttc and we were so happy. Our first ultrasound wasn’t until I was exactly 9 weeks pregnant, so we went to the doctor on July 23rd and we were so anxious. We went in the back and did a vaginal ultrasound, she told us the baby was measuring 8 weeks 4 days with no heartbeat, so he had died just 3 days earlier. We were absolutely heartbroken and had no clue what to do at that point. I had a missed miscarriage and had to have a d & c exactly one week after we found out.

Life has been tough and very emotional since everything has happened. I had my surgery on July 31st and I just got my first period last week at the end of September. I want to start trying again but I’m so nervous of it happening again.

Because we miscarried early, we didn’t know the gender but as soon as I saw the ultrasound, I knew it was a boy and we decided to name him Noah. I found an Etsy shop that makes customized ultrasound and I had one made for the always have. She also make non-customized ultrasound ones in case you never got to see your angel baby.

I’m so in love with it and I have a few other things I bought to remember my sweet angel Noah. I’m open to talking about everything that happened and I some of you reach out to me. [Post edited by Glow]
