My dog.... I don’t like her?...

Ladies,

I feel horrible for saying this. But I can’t stand my dog, I just can’t... even more so since I’ve had the baby.

Long story short we got her September of last year. Getting pregnant was a huge surprise. So I chalked up me not liking her due to my pregnancy and the hormones and all of that.... fast forward to now. It’s even worse. I can’t stand the smell of her, the licking, the need for attention which I don’t have much to give between my 7 year old , 3 year old and now newborn baby. Everyday I tell myself well maybe you’ll like her tomorrow and it never happens.. My husband travels a lot for work so I have to deal with the majority of dog related things. I don’t know what to do??? Am I horrible for feeling this way??? Man oh man I wish I didn’t have a dog. She’s too much work for me. 😭😭😭 my husband says we will never get rid of her. I don’t know what to do!!! I can’t imagine feeling this way about an animal for the next 10-15 years! I feel like she’d be better off given to a different family. 😭
