I am feeling very loved right now and wanted to share. I am expecting our 2nd child and first son. My husband is a wonderful father and person, but I don’t often give him credit for what a wonderful husband he is and how much he loves me. I often forget that the love we share is what has gotten us to where we are today. 12 years after meeting a boy at a party where he defended my honor and called me the very next day. After breaking up to see what else was out there and winding up in the same ancient civilizations class (college course that neither one of us really needed, just thought it looked interesting). There are few things that I feel are meant to be in my life, and sometimes I forget that being with my husband is one of those things. Something has always brought us right back to each other.

Earlier tonight, I was looking at pictures from our niece’s baptism and saw one where no one was really looking at the camera. As I took a closer look, I zoomed in on my husband. He wasn’t looking at the camera but instead he was looking at me. I hope all of you ladies one day have a man that you catch in an off photo looking at you this way. I know I sound silly, but I feel loved knowing that my husband still looks at me smiling with love and pride. Even when I don’t feel so great about myself all of the time. 😍😘
