Why does my prenatal vitamin make me nauseous?

Every morning RIGHT after taking that darn pill. It’s almost instant. I haven’t really had morning sickness I’m only 6w5d. Thankfully tho, no morning sickness. I hesitate to call what I’m feeling mornin sickness because it’s that vitamin making me feel that way. Anyone feeling like this? Actually some of my friends who are trying to get pregnant have started taking a prenatal vitamin and they consoling if the same thing!!?? What is with that?!

Take it at night. That’s what I do.

I literally take my pill in between eating my breakfast. I have a pill with iron in it and it doesn’t bother me. I take the nature made with DHA in it.

I switched to night time. So far, so good.
I also take Vitamin B6 25 mg 3xday.
It has helped me trenendously so far! 😍
Thank goodness, because I was about to lose it if I had another day of being intermittently nauseous all.day.long!

The smell/taste of it always makes me want to throw up, but I started taking it with orange juice at night and it’s SO much better now

It’s probably the iron. I used to take mine at lunch and it always upset my stomach, so I just started taking them before bed. That’s the best, except for when I have bad heartburn and burp up prenatal vitamin at night. Now that’s nasty.

Make sure to take it with food. It’ll make you feel sick if you don’t!

The one I take has a few ingredients in it that help with nausea. Seriously it’s the best thing ever. And it’s a melt so it dissolves into you so you don’t need to worry about puking it up.

I take flintstones and folic acid supplements because prenatals even at night, half asleep, I’d wake up power puking with them. But with the flintstones and folic acid I take during dinner, I eat about half and then take them because it says to take with water and a meal. Seems to help. And then maybe a preggie pop before bed if I’m feeling it coming on. Because the folic acid definitely causing nausea for me.
