IUI with 6+ follicles
Hi. I'm looking for people's thoughts/experiences. I'm scheduled for IUI #2 tomorrow. I have 6 follicles at least 17mm, plus 1 or 2 more which are smaller but possible. My RE says that he is a little nervous about multiples but he thinks we should proceed. I have a diagnosis of recurrent pregnancy loss. Because of this he feels that even if several eggs become fertilized and implant, I'm likely to lose some before 12 weeks. He said that those will produce hormones creating an ideal environment allowing 1 or 2 to be successful. Though I trust him, I have been reading online about this many follicles and it's making me nervous. What does everyone think?
