Did you experience implantation bleeding before a bfp?

I've heard a lot about implantation bleeding on these forums but when reading articles online I've found that apparently it is quite rare. 
I've had a bit of spotting this morning and I'm a week away from my period so it's got me wondering. I'm obviously not going to get my hopes up too much but I wanted to here about other people's experiences.

I’m in the same boat! Never had any spotting before but yesterday I had some darkish spotting - only a tiny bit. Exactly 7DPO. Period not due until next Friday. Agonising wait now!

Yes with the first, no with this pregnancy

Yes I did but didn’t know what it was due to having surgery two weeks before hand where they cleaned it all out down there and checked to see if I had endo. I bled after that and then it stopped. And when I got my implantation bleed I really just thought it was from my surgery but it wasn’t cos two weeks later I found out I was having a baby. 😅
