Cyst on ovary in pregnancy?

Had my first u/s today! Baby had a heartbeat! 7+ 2 due may 22nd. They mentioned that i do have a 6cm cyst on my right ovary, i am quite concerned but heard they do usually go away. Anyone else have this or had one in previous pregnancies?

The previous comment is incorrect. I had a cyst with my daughter and the doctors checked it every single ultrasound. They told me my cyst would expell from my body during labor. It didn't. Birth control helped it shrink afterwards.

I had a pretty big cyst on my left ovary when I was pregnant with my son. It was the first sonogram and the tech mentioned it and I had no idea because it wasn’t causing any kind of discomfort. She didn’t seem concerned, I wasn’t really because I isn’t even know it was there in the first place.

The doctor found a 4cm cyst when I went in for my 6w ultrasound, but it was gone by my 9w ultrasound. She said they are “abnormal but common” and basically nothing to worry about unless they keep growing larger and larger.

Everyone gets them its basically what the baby lives off of until the placenta grows and takes over I have the exact one on my ovary as well.
