I feel like I’m one of the only moms on here that has no desire to find out what I’m having.

I have 2 kiddos now and I didn’t find out with either of them. I was dead set that I wanted gender neutral things because I knew we would have more than one child.

My husband tried talking me into finding out for 2 hours! the night before we could find out with our first (even though for whole first 20 weeks he was on board “as long as baby is healthy...”). I’m so glad we didn’t! I don’t even remember if the doctor announced it was a boy. I just remember seeing his little peanuts when I gave the last push lol. Best moment of my life.

When number 2 came around, I kind of wanted another boy since they would be so close in age and I was afraid if I found out it was a girl I would feel a little disappointed. I didn’t feel it would be fair to the baby. Wouldn’t you know it, we had a beautiful baby girl (sassy at 5 minutes old flipping off the camera 😂).

Now with baby #3, I couldn’t imagine finding out before he/she was born.

I guess what I’m wondering is, what is the big hurry? Life only gives you so many good surprises. I know a lot of it is being prepared, but I have everything I need for the first month and more and it’s gender neutral colors. Of course now, I have boy and girl stuff, but I’ll still wait to bring that out until after baby is born. No sense in washing both sets of clothes when I don’t have a need to right away.

I’m just saying, maybe give some thought to waiting. It’ll be the be the best surprise of your life.
