Ok ladies I need to know if I'm over reacting or not. My daughter was supposed to go to her grandparents house this weekend but she ended up not going because we just bought a brand new house and she wrote on her bedroom walls not once but twice! I was furious but decided not to spank her but her punishment was going to be that she can not go to her grandparents house that Friday but she can go Saturday after her punishment. Well my dad and stepmom was furious and said I was taking time away for them and it was my fault she did it. I told them the reason and I wasn't going back on my word for anyone because me and her dad decided that was the best punishment for her. Her behavior is a reflection of me and I consider a child's behavior a very important part of parenting. Also they decided not to come get her at all even though they would be keeping her for a week and 2 days instead of 3 & told her on FaceTime that mommy and daddy won't let her come! I know she's only 4 but it's not an excuse for anything.
