Is it true that “all Caucasian babies are born with blue eyes?”

I’m Caucasian and have brown eyes. Born with dark brown eyes. My baby is Caucasian and he has blue eyes, he’s 16 months and they haven’t changed.

There’s usually a steel grey appearance to all newborns eyes, but the darker the color the darker the actual eye color will be. The top layer is a protective film so sunlight and other bright lights don’t cause permanent damage. It can take up to 9 months for baby’s eye progression to finish. 
I have different colored eyes so it was really obvious with me. My left eye was light grey when I was born, ended up being blue until I was 7, and now is a hazel-green color. My right eye was really dark steel grey (sometimes mistaken for brown), and is now really dark brown/almost black.

I’ve seen a lot of newborns with a kind of glassy dark blue-greyish color - I call it shark eyes!! But then they turn either full blue or brown or green or whatever by 6 months or so. I’m sure it’s not all white babies but I have definitely seen a bunch where that’s true
