I’m paranoid I haven’t gotten it yet but I’m waiting till my doctors appointment next week to know when I can

The shot works best for about 5 months after vaccination- I usually get it as soon as it comes out, but my doctor recommended I wait until mid Oct this year so that its at peak effectiveness through the worst of flu season!

I had my OB give it to me. I have other children and don’t want to spread anything to them.

Got it as soon as it was available! Remember it takes a couple weeks for you to build up your immunity. And remember too that it's especially important this time - your immunity is lower than when you're not pregnant and a fever that's no risk to you can still be very dangerous to your baby.

I never get one . I’ve never had one in my life and I’ve never gotten the flu in my life so unless my OB says I really neeeed too probably won’t . My body doesn’t react well to shots like that neither does it for my dad it makes him super sick when he gets flu shot . I think I’ll be okay but I may get one but scared it would make me sicky
