Has anyone switched clinics for IUI/IVF?

I am on my 2nd cycle of IUI and it seems like my doctor is rushing the trigger shot and having the IUI the day after. I read that you are supposed to wait between trigger and IUI for at least 36 hours, and last cycle they only had me wait 22 hours...and they want to do the same this cycle too... plus, my doctor is never in the office and always has replacements that dont listen to me and never tell me specifics, like follicle count, follicle size, sperm motility, etc. Has anyone switched clinics during the IUI/IVF cycles and were happy they did. Thanks!

I’m on my third clinic and I finally LOVE my dr.  My advice is if you are not satisfied switch. We have too much money and all our dreams on this and why waste it on someone you don’t feel comfortable with?

🙋🏾‍♀️I did the clinic I did my IUI’s with in my opinion have too many patients and I was just another number, they were all about the money and was trying to rush me into IVF which I am doing now with a different facility! In addition, the old clinic kept telling me my insurance coverage was only 50% when it is indeed 100% coverage!

I have a friend who switched clinics. Her biggest issue was the paperwork to get their frozen embryos, they also had to pay fees and do the transportation themselves (if you don’t have anything frozen this shouldn’t be an issue). We’re also going to switch clinics, our RE is never around and we plan don’t trust him. We had to sign a form and they emailed us all our records. Make sure you get your records so your new clinic can see your progress and history.
