Tattoo cost

So I really want to get this tattoo done and it’s booked in for this week (the tattoo artist is redrawing it for me though with roses and poppys to fill the space so it’s unique). A few questions: how much would this cost where you live? Mines gonna be around £400-500 is this normal because it’s a 2 day sittings he thinks maybe more because it’s £200 a day. How much did it hurt for you if you have a thigh tattoo? How long did it take? If you had more than one session did you go back in the next day to finish or wait a bit? Also has anyone had a tattoo over a significant amount of scarring is it allowed or does it hurt more? Do tattoos cover up scarring well? Anything else you think I should know please tell me and also drop tattoo pics below I’d love to see them!
