Fluid around heart & lungs?

I went to the doctor last week for a cold that wouldnt go away. I knew my sinuses had gotten infected and I went to get some guidance on meds I could take. He listened to my heart and ordered an EKG. It was abnormal and so was my bloodwork. He thinks I have fluid buildup around my heart. When I lay down today the chest pain is worse and I get a terrible, very deep chest cough and I feel short of breath. I read that once the fluid builds up enough, it can effect the lungs. I may be having to visit labor & delivery tomorrow to be evaluated because I can't go one to two more weeks like this waiting for a cardiologist visit. Has anyone else been diagnosed with this issue during pregnancy? My blood pressure is continuously great, no spikes so no preeclampsia so far.
