I feel like I'm failing.

Can anyone give me some insite, my next check up with my daughter isn't until the 29th of October and my normal GP doesn't seem too concerned.

I don't know if any of these factors matter but I will say them anyway.

My daughter is 10 months old in a couple days. She was born at 36 weeks. She weight 4 pounds. I had GD as well. She was in special care for 2 weeks after birth.

I see so many babies that are her age doing so many things, they reach out for their parents, or can point to things, can understand a few words, crawl, trying to walk, pulling themselves up..

My daughter just doesn't.. she would rather lay on her back and roll around. She does roll to her belly a lot now and likes to stay there for a while, she goes in her walker and jumper on and off a few hours in a day, but she just cracks it.. she would rather be on her back by herself. She doesn't like being touched a lot, only when she's teething or sick. She will sometimes sit with books but as soon as she is sitting for more then 10 minutes she arches uncontrollably and pushes and cries until she is put back down.

I read the wonder weeks app and my daughter just isn't meeting the leaps.. (by due date and birth date).. I'm really concerned.

Are there any other mums out there in a similar situation? I'm sorry if this isn't explained the best. Am I just a bad mum? she's my first and I just don't know what I am doing.

I did supper post partum depression for a bit afterwards and I was very withdrawn from the beginning but I'm not now.

Any advice please, I would love all I can get.

I feel like such a failure and am embarrassed to tell people how old she is because EVERYONE says 5 to 6 months because of her size and her abilities or lack there of. I love her so much I just want to do the best that I can for her.
