Dentist?

Has anyone taken their July baby to the dentist yet? I get mixed advice regarding taking my LO now or when he turns 3.
Update: I was able to find a pediatric dentist right after I posted this and took my LO 3 days ago. It went really well, he wasn’t scared at all. One more comfort appointment in 6 months then his first cleaning.

Yes. I have by the time my daughter was 18 months. She has been to the doctors twice now for cleanings. Her baby canine teeth didn't come in but I was able to verify that her adult canine teeth are there with an exray.

My dentist said three or when they get all there baby teeth. My daughters still getting molars.

My lo has been 2x. She almost has all of her teeth. Finishing out the last two molars. The first visit was just to see what she would do. The second was more of a "this is what we do at the dentist" visit. Now she keeps talking about wanting to go back and watch a movie in the fish room and get her teeth brushed. Haha

My son has all including molars but I haven’t even started searching for a dentist. I want one that does ALL ages including adults since my old dentist doesn’t practice anymore which sucks 😭

Our pediatrician recommended taking our son when he turned Two. We recently took him (27mths old). Overall it went okay lots of wiggling and frustration from my little one but a good start to getting used to dentist. Was brief exam of mouth to count teeth, check for deformities and they applied a fluoride  treatment. The dentist advised 1st visit best before 3yrs old and to visit every 6 months.

My daughter has been too the dentist twice....18 months and 2 years....goes back at 2 and a half in jan. My dentist does this to get the  Child used to the dentist. In jan will have her first cleaning.
