Getting over someone

I had just started talking to this guy and he is really sweet but not he’s not spontaneous. I don’t to be mean but there’s really nothing exciting about him. Maybe that’s why I like him because we’re totally opposites. I keep on expecting more from him and I know nothing is gonna happen so we decided to call it. I have strong feelings about him and it’s hard to get over him. It’s weird I even had a dream about him lmao. Overall does anyone have any advice on how to get over this dude. I know time is the best medicine. Thanks
