How to call ob?

What do you guys say when you call with a question? Just describe your vagina troubles to whoever answers or be like “I need to talk to my ob?” Or what

I call the office and ask to speak to the nurses. Then just try and describe the issues as detailed as I can. Or mychart!

I just call and try to describe my issues to the on call nurse. Normally, my ob will return my call and go over everything again unless it’s something she thinks i need to definitely come in and get checked and then the nurse will just call back and schedule. I prefer messaging bc it’s easier for me to be thorough and descriptive but my ob doesn’t want messages during pregnancy - she wants us to call bc they don’t always constantly check the online messages like they do the phone messages.

I ask to speak with the nurse’s line and they decide if I need to speak with an OB.

I have mine set up that I can send them a message through my app but you can call and ask to speak to the phone nurse
