Period confusion

Help! I use to have VERY regular & painful periods so my doctor suggested the pill I was on the pill regularly for 2 years. I got engaged and my fiancé and I decided that I would stop taking the pill. Since then my periods have very irregular. I’ve been to the doctors everything is fine but this month my period was very strange. I was 8 days late, and then my period was very spotty. And now I’m not long really bleeding but light pink blood when I wipe and when I have sex... anyone experienced this?
