When did you have your first ultrasound?!

My first appointment is next Wednesday and I’ll be almost 8 weeks, just wondering what we’re going to discuss or talk about? Will I see my little peanut or have to wait :(

** Update** 
Just spoke with the nurse from my office and she said for the first visit there will not be an ultrasound just blood work and consultation... I’m super sad. This makes the unknown even worse.. I just want to see the little peanut 😭😔

You'll def see/hear at 8weeks. At 5weeks all we saw was a sac. And theres so much noticeable growth between each ultrasound.

7 weeks. I could not tell it was a baby, but my doctor said she could see it. There was a tiny flicker in some views that my doctor said was the heartbeat.

9 weeks. We saw way better on the monitor, but the printed pics were not as good. It was moving around. The heart was much more visible. It looked like a snow man baby with tiny little buds for limbs. 
Your baby should be between the two.

11 weeks. The baby was so much clearer! You could see it’s spine. The head is down and to the right. In a different view, you could see long arms and legs. 
Now I don’t see my baby until 20 weeks! I got extra views because we conceived through a fertility clinic.

I got my apt at (according to my LMP) 8 weeks but I knew I wasn't. I tested ovulation and knew I had ovulated late so when it came time I was only 6w5d. They didn't tell me the HR was really low, I lost the pregnancy. 
I'm glad I got to see my baby when I did because the heart stopped a day after my apt. I carried by baby till 8w5d not knowing.
