My LO is 12 weeks. For about 3 weeks she was fighting her Halo swaddler (grunting and wiggling around against the restraints) and would eventually work one hand up. I noticed if I put her down unswaddled her arms went up, so I tried Love to Dream swaddler and it was a total fail. I realized she liked getting her fist to her mouth and with the Love to Dream, that was just too difficult of an angle and it doesn’t offer true access to her hand.

Last night I used the Halo with one hand at her chest and out so she could reach it to her mouth and it was better, but she was definitely still fighting the swaddle. So tonight I left one arm completely free. She has been asleep for 2.5 hours and has startled awake several times but found her fist and fell asleep within a few minutes.

When did everyone stop swaddling? She’s not yet 3 months and shows no signs of rolling over (she can roll belly to back only) but when she was fighting being fully swaddled in the Halo or in the Love to Dream, she rolled over to her side - enough that it scared me that she might flip over.
