Potty Training Help?

My little guy is going to be turning three soon and I wanted to start potty training. Any ideas? He is very stubborn 😂💕 (picture is me and my baby boy, Tobyus)

Read (or listen to, as I did) the book, “Oh Crap! Potty Training”. I listened to it once through and then re-listened to a few of the more important chapters and we nailed it in a few days. We’re there accidents? Yes, but there always will be. We didn’t have nearly as many as others I know have had, though. Good luck and take your time!

I have a daughter but she didn’t want to potty train so I showed her on a calendar a circled date a few weeks away and told her “we are going to cross off a day everyday and when we get to the circled day you have to wear big girl underwear, no more diapers” that way it gave her a chance to prepare herself mentally for it. Worked like a charm and she potty training both day and night after that. Before I tried the calendar we would fight all the time about wanting her to wear underwear and use the potty.

I went hardcore and just threw out all the diapers and had them start wearing underwear. Of course had to deal with a bunch of accidents but it was easy for them to learn since they didn’t like the feeling of being wet or dirty. Didn’t take my sons too long to get potty trained.
