I got pregnant on my first iui and it ended in miscarriage.
My second attempt failed.
I’m on to my 3rd and I’m 40 days in and haven’t ovulated yet. We’ve tried clomid and Letrozole so far this round.. still not even one follicle over 10mm.

Depends on the problem.  We had severe male factor infertility so we skipped IUI all together.  If the problem is that you don’t ovulate I would probably do 3 IUI cycles and then move on.  That’s also my fertility clinics recommendation for IUI patients.

I’m in the exact same boat, 1 IUI worked and I miscarried. 2nd & 3rd failed. Just had our 4th today 🙏🏻 my dr. said we could technically do as many as we wanted, but she would be doing us disservice if she didn’t recommend IVF after this one. So we’re praying hard that it works and looking into ivf vs adoption if it doesn’t. Best of luck!

I did one before I switched. Wasn’t worth it for us to keep trying (male factor).

I’m really impatient and only did one IUI.. i tried for a second one, but only got one follicle and it was on the ovary of mine that might have a blockage so I wasn’t gonna waste my time or money. After that we decided to move on to IVF. But, I was only able to make that decision because we’d met our deductible which means our insurance will cover 80% of IVF.

I think it depends on a lot of things.   We had been trying for almost 3 years and where 38 and 42.    Time wasn’t out friend so we didn’t want to keep trying.      If I had been 10 years younger we likely would have tried 6 instead of 3.

If you’re 40 maybe just jump to IVF? I don’t mean to sound rude but you probably don’t have as much time to try less invasive procedures as someone who is 25 or 30. Best of luck with your journey.
