Will you get a flu shot while pregnant?

I read a scary article about the correlation with MCs and still births after flu shot. I've never been a fan of flu shots but was considering getting one since I'm delivering in almost December. Now I think I will stick to vitamins, sleep, and hydration.

Flu shots do not cause mcs or stillbirths. the flu does though. 
the only way the flu shot impacts your baby is that it allows you to devlop antibodies against the flu and pass them on to your baby. its safe to get while pregnancy, and at any point in your pregnancy.

Is why I got a flu shot it's to protect both parties better be safe. Flu shots don't cause those things that's why I informed the doctor if it's okay to get a flu shot and they say it's prefectly safe.

I chose to get one because the flu is extremely risky to pregnant women. And that scared me much more than the shot did. I asked all my friends who have had babies and they all chose to get the shot while pregnant. I was 10 weeks when I got it, 13.5 now, and so far so good. Hope that helps!!!

Who wrote the article? I’ve never seen a single credible article claiming that there is any correlation between the flu shot and miscarriage or stillbirth.

I won’t get one. I’ve only had flu once in my life and most of my friends that get the flu shot get the sickness every year. 
One friend who got it while pregnant was sick with influenza three times just during her pregnancy.

I got mine today at 15 weeks. I had the flu at 20 weeks with my 1st baby and was hospitalized for it.

I always get a flu shot, anyway, but I was especially motivated after being knocked out by a mere cold a couple weeks ago.  A cold without pseudoephedrine is no joke!

I got it at 30 weeks pregnant now I'm 38 and baby is healthy! I wouldnt risk it personally I even asked my doctor who had her baby in flu season and even she said she only gets the flu shot when she is pregnant to protect her baby

It’s not so much I got it to prevent myself from getting the flu. It’s because antibodies are passed on to the baby and gives them protection since their immune system isn’t developed. Before I got pregnant I was anti flu shot for me, but it’s not about just me anymore. I and due at the end of December. It just seemed to be a no brainer for me.

I believe that’s factually inaccurate as it’s regarded as safe and important in pregnancy within the medical community (which is the one you want to listen to). Ask your doctor so you have actual facts, it’s a big risk to neglect to do it x
