Leaving the abuser..

I'm off to college but I have to safely get away to actually be able to get help and be happy. If you have any advice on cutting them off and getting away please share it!

I have money saved up (and an online job), scholarships, and college set up. I also plan to leave anything they own behind and to replace it myself. I'm being pushed about my college decisions so my location when I leave is iffy to them but I plan to change my name and legally cut them off as well to keep them from contacting me. But any further advice is definitely helpful!
