Do Nipple Piercings Hurt?

I’ve been thinking about getting my nipples pierced when I turn 17/18 so I have a few years left but I’m not sure how bad it hurts could some people enlighten me if their pain experience and healing process

It hurts like you would expect a 14g needle going through your nipple to hurt. That said, it was my least painful piercing and I’ve had ears, nose, eyebrows, lips, and more done. In fact, I had them done three times (don’t ask.) As long as you have a good sports bra and respect the healing process (do your sea salt soaks and DON’T TOUCH THEM) they should heal up great. I absolutely loved having mine pierced.

Yes it hurts but it’s not as excruciating as you would think. Once the needle and the piercing go through completely, that pain goes away. Your nipples will be sore but it’s tolerable.

The actual piercing itself hurt really bad only while he put the needle in. I suggest going home and not moving around a lot after cause I went to Walmart and I have DD’s so they were moving when I walked and that hurt lol but other than that they don’t hurt afterwards. It’s worth it imo they made me love my boobs lol

It definitely hurt and I had to wear a tight bra 24/7 for a long time. One of them never really healed right and started to slightly migrate, and it was horrible when they would get stuck on my loofah. 
That being said I loved the way that they looked, I had them in for a few years until most of the way thru my first trimester with my first child when I had the worst breast pain and took them out for relief. 
If I ever get the reduction and lift that I want (after our last baby) I would consider doing them again.

I passed out when I had my nipple piercings done and I have extremely high pain tolerance and have never passed out before that. Granted I was a bit dehydrated but if you already have sensitive nipples plan on a brutal experience although my friends have said it didn’t hurt them much at all so everyone is different. 🤷🏻‍♀️💕

I miss mine, I’ve had them pierced twice once horizontally and once vertically. It feels like a big punch but that’s about it. Healing process is a long one, around 6 months and they can get infected easily.

They hurt bad when he was piercing them and they hurt that night when we were driving on country dirt roads with no bra on (sidenote WEAR A BRA! It’ll keep them still if you don’t they will hurt and jiggle around, I’m a size A cup and girl they jiggled bad) but the healing was so fast and they didnt hurt at all after the first day. Just limit the touching and you can never ever clean it too much, just use a little Vaseline once in a while to keep it clean but moisturized. Get the salt spray and thisgreen bottle Bactine... worked wonders! It disinfects it AND numbs it too u can get it at any drugstore or Walmart.

Hurt like a b*tch and I’ve had them done for over a year and a half and still aren’t healed. Many peoples never do heal fully. I have a ton of piercings and tattoos and it definitely hurt to get done more than all the others
