When to start teaching sign?

At what age (I have a two week old) should I start teaching sign language?

I started at 3 months. He’s now able to sign at 6 months.

You can start whenever tbh.... eventually they catch on lol and start copying. I started my son at a month old and now at a year old he knows basics. Example, eat, milk, please, thank you, more etc.

I started around 6 months when we started with food

I started “eat” & “all done”
Pretty early, maybe 2/3 months? & he knows what those to mean. He can’t do them, but I can tell by his facial reaction to me doing them if that’s what he wants. Everything else we added at 6 months when we started solids, because most of what I’m teaching is meal related 🤷‍♀️. He’s starting to catch on to “more” but just in the last few days. He’s 7 months almost 8.

Whenever. Even starting now! From day one it’s good to communicate with your babies by pointing to things and telling them what they are, narrating what you’re doing to them, and reading to them. It’s how they learn language! The younger you start the better!
