I had an abortion yesterday and today I have only been having brownish discharge. I was super early in my pregnancy so the nurse said I might not bleed very much. But is it normal to pass old blood? It's confusing to me.

It's very normal. I was advised of the same after mine at 6 weeks. You may spot and cramp for a few days- if you start running a fever or begin to hemorrhage or are in a lot of pain, go to the ER. A heating pad and a couple days of putting my feet up helped me out a lot.
