ANY tips for first time moms wanting to give a natural birth but terrified??

When I had my son I didn’t want to have natural birth at all. But my little guy had other plans .. from the second my water broke till he came out it was only 1 hour & 15 min so when I arrived at the hospital and only had 15 min to spare I had no choice but to go natural . My contractions were way to close and He was coming out fast . It hurt bad I won’t lie but once you hold your bundle of joy in your arm it’s all worth it .

Ive had 3 natural births. 
Taking a Lamaze class helped us out the most with our first. 
Good luck and listen to your body. Everyone’s pain tolerance is different and listen to your body. ❤️❤️

Just know what happens will happen.  Every baby wants to come their own way, at their own pace. I wanted to have a natural birth and made it all the way to 6 cm dilated and carved and got the epidural. It only half worked.  I could feel the whole left side. In an hour and a half my baby was there. I was so disappointed in myself but I was so ecstatic that I had my beautiful baby. Everyone is different. I wrote birth affirmations, I told my hubby what to do and not to do, I made a play list, brought essential oils. I couldn't stand the sound of music, the smells made me wanna gag, and never once looked at the affirmations. My best suggestion to you is trust your body. My body had been pushing  for around an hr begore I knew what it was doing and told them she was coming NOW. They made me wait. This one nurse took charge. Was all bossy and told me to look her in the eyes and breath with her. If it wasn't for that super bossy nurse I would have lost my shit. You so what feels right Momma. 💓💓 everyone has their own birth story and yours will be amazing. If you can have someone take pictures. That's the only real reccomendtion I have. My husbands friend took mine. And I didn't know her well and she saw my hoo-ha in all of its prego-baby-birthing-glory as did my mother in law but who cares. I have the most amazing pics that I can cherish the rest of my life. Sorry this was so long. Your gonna do great💓😙

- Check out unmedicated births on youTube and IG so you know what to expect/familiarize yourself with birth
- Listen to BirthHour podcasts
- watch business of being born/other birth documentaries
- hire a doula
- consider birthing affirmations
- take a birthing class focused on natural pain management. 
- the more knowledge you have about the birthing process (medicated vs unmedicated and c section vs vaginal) the more comfortable you’ll feel going into the process.

Read the book Your Baby, Your Birth. Super helpful and teachers you how north actually works physiologically. It’s not even pushing. More like you’re relaxing for a poo lol

Push more down there and less in your face. I know that sounds silly but that’s what my doctor told me to do and then she was born lol
