Braxton Hicks?

I’m 35 weeks today and I don’t think i have felt any  Braxton-Hicks at all. Is that normal?? What should i look for? Will i know for sure what it is?

Completely normal especially if it’s your first. I never had them with my first daughter and only had a few with my second daughter here and there and now that I’m pregnant with my son and almost 35 weeks I’ve been getting them bad all day for the last three days now. Trust me... you don’t want to experience them.

I didn’t realize I was having them until I had my NST yesterday, I had 3 in 20 minutes, I just thought it was baby moving. The nurse said sometimes the baby will push against the contraction since it’s putting a little pressure on them.

I didnt know I was having Braxton hicks until someone explained what it felt like lol I didnt really notice it either. I have them maybe once a day.

I've never felt my stomach get hard. My BH are in my back. I feel them on my lower back, almost on my spine. I confirmed this with my doctor at my last appointment. 
But I have yet to feel my stomach get hard, like it is supposed to.

Lots of people don’t feel them at all, I have plenty of friends who never did.  I had lots of very painless ones with my first pregnancy and wish I didn’t get them this time as they are very painful now in my 2nd pregnancy

Mine have been super mild. There’s been a few times where I noticed my stomach was hard, but it wasn’t painful in anyway. And starting last weekend (just before 35 weeks) I’ve had a few times where I’ve felt what’s like very mild period cramps - again not really painful, just noticeable, and I can’t really time them at all

I never felt Braxton Hicks with my first, but at the time I also thought they would be painful. Keep in mind, any time you feel your belly, if it's very hard, that's a BH, your uterus is doing em whether you notice or feel em. Nothing to worry about. Lile I said, I never noticed em with my first, and I had a very easy labor for a first time mom. Remember to Kegel if you want a good foundation for pushing. Strengthen your pelvic floor!

Braxton Hicks are when your entire stomach gets super tight and rock solid, and it’s really uncomfortable. I’ve been getting them since about 26 weeks. It happens mainly when I’m up and moving around too much of walking too much.

My doctor told me that my period- like cramps and lower back spasms were Braxton Hicks. I had no idea, just thought they were normal aches and pains of being pregnant. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m a FTM as well due Nov 9th.
