Isn’t life funny?

Isn’t it funny how some of us when we were younger and had boyfriends or whatever were always scared to miss a period and get pregnant and now it’s all we wish for.

I remember being 18-19 and being young and dumb and hooking up with my then boyfriend and being so scared I was a day late and how my mom was gonna kill me if I got pregnant, and going to the bathroom constantly wiping hoping to see red and taking test and being so happy that second line didn’t come up.

& now I’m married, been trying to conceive for 10 months and I’m 5 days late hoping she doesn’t show but telling myself if she doesn’t it’s okay, we’ll keep trying.
