Anyone get pregnant off of 500mg of metformin?

I have it as a mild form.  TTC #2 two mos ago.  Since I didn't have a period in four years my doctor put me on Provera (medroxyprogesterone).  Says if I don't get pregnant he wants to try clomid. Is the medication your on another type of fertility drug?

I stopped the pill 1 year 2 months ago, started on metformin 500mg three times daily, and 3 days ago we got a bfp! We are still in the early stages but I'm positive metformin helped me
